Not So Smart Girl In My Class

I have some pretty.. hmm not smart people in my class. And with "people" I mean this particular girl.
Maybe you can guess this but YES I'm always sitting next to her!
One day we had German and of course she was sitting next to me. (that's not even the problem)
We got the assignment to translate a few words and than the sentences which was on the other side of the paper. So I was working on the assignment
All of the sudden she said (I'm translating this into English, because she said this in dutch): "Do you know what I get when I look up:  'The contact' in the dictionary? Something with computers"
I was truly amazed by what she said, well I thought she was joking.
And when I said to her that you have to search under the 'C' from contact she replied: "Well, I think it should be searched this way"
I looked at her with the "WTF?" face expression. Again I thought she must been joking so I continued working.  And THEN SHE SAID (1 minute later) : "Your acting like i'm dumb" Uhm..? O.O' How is that not dumb? Less than 45 minutes where passed. She finished her assignment and said: "If you want some help, just ask me"
Uhm.. HOW ABOUT: NO!
How are you going to help me if you don't know how a dictionary works!?

And this wasn't even the only thing that annoys me about her.
Let me tell you another story.

For some reason I get higher grades in language courses than her.. Doesn't bother me that much. I don't know why it should. In the 'Exam-Week' I got higher grades again. Obviously it bothers her because she took 'higher education' or something but failed and now she's in a class with younger people 16-21 year. Kind of like Junior College. And i'm doing better than her..
So she said, her exact words were: " I don't like it that you have higher grades than me, because you don't do anything for it and I do" "plus I'm much more wiser and older than you" "Hmm, maybe it's because you talk English at home"
I was so angry when she told me that, I laughed it off. I don't even speak English at home we speak dutch like everybody else in my class. And I learned English just the way you did; YEAH THROUGH SCHOOL!
It gets worse, but i'm not going to write that down because i'm tired! haha

-.- sad part is.. She's 21 and lives with her boyfriend
I truly feel sorry for both of them.. I don't even want to know how they handle such things at home.

Sometimes you want to do this, but just don't have the courage and can't

My Strange Addiction.. Urine Drinking

Warning: Disgusting post

Have you maybe thought of drinking your own urine, just out curiosity? Hmm, can't really imagine that. The thought alone makes me wanna puke. Urine is 95% water and than there is 2% or 3% that are your body waste products, so when you drink your urine you are reintroducing those toxins and those byproducts in your system again. You can run the risks of kidney-failure, infections and dehydration.

I was looking around YouTube. And you know you always end up with a really bizarre video.
Yesterday, that happened to me. I stumbled upon this video called: "My Strange Addiction - Urine Drinker"
Let me just tell you: This video is freaking disturbing. This woman drank her own pee/urine. She called it the "urine-therapy". She was diagnosed with cancer and she thinks her "urine-therapy" helps her.

Not only she drinks her urine. No! She drinks it 'through her eye' with an eye-cup. She brushes her teeth with her own urine. She puts her urine in bath (with herself in it of course). And the most sickening one: She Used it as body lotion. Can you even imagine how she smells? And her pee is so freaking yellow that you can see that she's drinking her urine for 4 years.

She has 3 children. Who are surprisingly quite supportive (lovely daughters). But if my mom drinks her own pee, I can guarantee you. I'll have a problem hugging my mom if she uses pee as body lotion and brushes her teeth with urine.

If you want to see the video: Here it is!

The Chunky Heel

You may or may not have heard of it. The chunky heel. It's one of the shoe trends, well for now.
I have to say: I always were a fan of chunky heels (with platform). Why? Because it looks classy, cute, edgy and feminine. Plus I could never walk in stilettos. The heels are so thin O.o! And if someone with 'thicker' legs wears them it looks like they are torturing the heels. Yes, lets be honest. Stilettos will look better on someone with slim/skinny legs.

But why does the chunky heel suddenly appear A LOT?
Idk, don't ask me? I think the chunky heel is from the 70s.  Jep, that may sounds wrong, but i love the 70s. The clothes, the way everything was 'laid-back', (the serie) and the music. If you think about it most fashion trends/items repeats themselves. They just change 1 thing, modernize it and Voilá new hot fashion item. That is one of the cool things of fashion. That is my opinion. Just take a look.

Look at the design of the heel. Familiar? lol
Just picture the the white part black. And the yellow with blue spots,  black with white spots.
Modern, Right? By the way i would totally buy them if it was black with white spots.
Now the modernize chunky heel.

Haha you can clearly see i got the image from Milanoo.
I'm eyeing at these shoes for a long long time. I don't really think the fashion trends changes. I think the way we look at fashion changes . That's probably why we are liking the 'vintage-look' now. Now I'm thinking of it, my fashion taste hasn't changed (yet). I still like the polka-dot vintage/70s-50s look. I hoop i will still like it when I'm 60 wtf. Now that we already talking about heels, let me post the heels that i want.

First pair! How cute! ♥ And it's going to make me incredibly tall!

These shoes are cute as well, but a bit edgy. I think these are super easy to style with a dress, jeans or skirt.
But i don't know what color  i want.

Another example of cute shoes that i want to buy. I think these shoes are that kind that you would only wear ones or twice and then put in your shoe rack to look at.. and pet them wtf?

So high and small!

I am into floral prints..

Wedges-love♥

Japan!

In love with Mary Jane heels.
Wow i feel like i can go one for hours, but let's not do that

Finding your talent

Finding your talent isn't always that easy. Many people don't know were they are good at and don't know how to find it. Everybody has a talent but for some its just difficult to find. You can even create your talent. By creating I mean getting skilled, teaching yourself.

My talent: Drawing. How did I discover I could draw?
Well, i always knew i could draw simple things without any problems and my mom could draw/paint too.
She had her paintings in the hallway. The paintings where so good i got inspired by them. and on school we had an assignment where you had to draw a celebrity. I drew Sohee from the wondergirls and got a 7,5. Thats a B- or something in American. When I saw that i got a  7,5 i was so unsatisfied. Just because i worked very hard on the drawing. Yeah, I'm one of those kids who aren't satisfied with anything lower than a B lol. So i set my mind with the thought: "I can do better than this and i will show them!" so i started drawing portraits from celebrity's and random people. Joined Deviantart. What helped me a whole lot. I got tips from artists there. And in 2 years i saw myself grow.

I went from this

To this..

So it is true you HAVE TO BELIEVE in yourself. And practice.

I've made a step-by-step plan you can follow.

  1. Ask yourself: "What do i like to do?" What could i do?" "Am i willing to do this? "
  2. Get Inspired: Go look around outside. Look around youtube. Surf the internet. Go to places. Explore you!
  3. Create realistic goals: For example: in 10 weeks from now.. In a month from now i want to..
  4. Challenge yourself: This one goes with point 3. If you set yourself realistic goals try to even do better than the goals you just set, or make little challenges for yourself.
  5. Be passioned about it: If your passioned about what you do, you'll do everything easier.
  6. Find out your learning style: Learning style could be learning through audio, watching people, asking tips. Doing it yourself and ask people about opinions so they can correct you. There are all kinds of learning styles. A course/class could be one of them.
  7. Correct yourself: What is your weak point? Try to correct that with more practice on that specific point. With drawing for me that would be hair. At one point I only drew loose hair strands. Your weakest point could be your strongest point.
  8. Write it down: Keep a journal or blog and write down in what you improved, what you could work on. What your goals are.
  9. Share: Share your talent/skills with someone. Sharing your talent is not only good for you, but also for the people around you. You'd be surprised how sharing can help develop your talent.
  10. Be open minded:  Your talent could be singing, dancing, writing, drawing but it also could be picking things up easily. Remember everybody is different everybody has different talents
  11. And lost but not least: Be patient: Be patient about getting better. Be patient about finding your talent. If you are going to fast you might miss it.  Try doing many different things. If something doesn't suite you/doesn't work out for you, move on.
